I really enjoyed this book! The author quickly grabbed my attention and had me wanting to know what was going to happen next. The author deftly tells the story through multiple points of view. I felt as though I really got to know the characters and where they were coming from. I couldn’t help but laugh one minute then cry the next. This is the first book by this author I have read and it won’t be my last.

This is the second book in the Cat Latimer Mystery Series and it does not disappoint. This book quickly drew me in and kept me glued to the pages. With the second session of the writer’s retreat in full swing, Cat is faced with someone stealing valuable manuscripts from the college library, a guest with a stalker, secrets, murder, and a possible ghost.. Cat puts on her sleuthing hat to try and figure out what is going on.

This is a wonderfully written murder mystery. The story has many layers that are slowly peeled away to reveal the story. The characters are complex, interesting and likable, even the “bad guys.” I was kept on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. There are several surprises, and plenty of twists that kept me guessing. I look forward to reading more in this series.

This is the third book in the Charlottes Brody mystery Series, it’s wonderful. The story quickly drew me in and kept me turning the pages, I couldn’t put the book down. I just had to know what was going happen next.
The mystery is well planned, I was kept guessing at “whodunit” until the end.

The author paints such vivid portraits with her words, I feel as though I’m an observer along with the characters and their journeyed. I’m sorry to say I missed the second book in this series, I look forward to reading that until Charlotte’s next adventure releases.
